General Cancellation and Rescheduling Policies:

Tuition will be promptly refunded with the following constraints:

Notice must be received in writing a specific number of business days prior to the start of class. The exact number of days needed for cancellation is found listed in the Cancellation Policies on the registration form for that class, usually 5 business days. Cancellation notice may be emailed to summittraining@summit-train.com and if you don’t receive confirmation of cancellation within 1 business day, please contact us by phone.

In all cases, failure to comply with the cancellation policy or failure to show up for class results in a charge of 100% of the class fee.

Please refer to the rescheduling policies for your particular class, found on your registration form, class confirmation email, or contact us for more information.

Please note that built into the class price is a nonrefundable administrative fee. The amount of that fee is listed on the registration form, in the Cancellation Policies section, for that class.

Student substitutions may be made at any time, usually without penalty. However, depending upon the class and status of materials required for class, an additional materials fee may apply, so please contact us with your request before class to check.

For companies requesting onsite training, the cancellation policy will be detailed within the Terms and Conditions of the quote we send you.

Students enrolling in any of our classes should be familiar with the keyboard and how to use a mouse. In addition, all classes above introductory or beginner level have prerequisites. Generally, there is not enough time in intermediate and advanced courses for the instructor to cover prerequisite material. For students attending P6 Professional Fundamentals classes: No prior experience with P6 is required, but good computer skills with experience using a Windows PC is strongly recommended.

Full prerequisite information can be found near the top of each course outline (description.)

Links to the course outlines are found on the class information page and/or on the schedule page. If you have questions about whether or not you meet the prerequisites for a particular course, or if you need more information about prerequisites, please contact us.

Your class confirmation will include the classroom address. For some locations, including the Houston and Mandeville P6 classrooms, a map and directions to the classroom will also be included with this confirmation. Classroom addresses are also listed on the schedule pages.

Depending upon the class location there may be an additional parking fee. Please refer to the directions that we send you or contact us for more information.

For most locations the parking is free, however, for students attending P6 training courses in Houston, please reveiw the parking information for your class. There is a public parking garage near the building which charges a fee of $5 per day (as of January 2020), or you might be able to find parking on a nearby street, which is metered.

A computer is usually provided for class use if you are attending a class in a classroom. If we schedule a class that requires you to bring your own computer it will be noted on the schedule page.

ONSITE & SPECIAL REQUEST CLASSES: Except for P6, special request classes and onsite training usually require that students provide their own computers and software. Laptops with the P6 software loaded are provided for onsite Primavera P6 training class use.

ONLINE CLASSES: With the exception of P6 classes, if you are attending an online class, you will need to have a computer and that computer will need to have the application loaded on it. Primavera P6 students who are taking a P6 class online will use their computer to connect to the P6 software through the online meeting. Please note, for all other students, the release of the software on your computer must match the release of the software being taught.
